I’m beginning my first example with jewelry because it’s such a statement when it comes to what you wear on your neck, arms, ankles or even ears. You’ll find yourself planning your outfit around your jewelry choices.

The first thing people view when looking at you (in my opinion), won’t be the bling but the uniqueness and choices you decided to put on your body. Which is such a fun conversation starter.

It’s a beautiful thing whether you love dainty jewelry, gold, silver, chunky, etc. whatever it is you desire, you can find when shopping second-hand.

Not only do you ensure you’re finding reliable jewelry but you’re also spending such a cost effective price to convey who you are. With that, it allows free range to find where you express yourself within your bangles, earrings, necklaces, watches, whatever it may be.

Side Note: If you’re cautious about expanding to second-hand I can completely assure you there is a multitude of ways to disinfect and clean your jewelry before properly wearing it.

2.) Jackets & Coats

My second step comes from having a top layer, no matter what season it is or climate you live in, sometimes it’s beneficial to have a jacket or coat on. This will be the last part of your look but also the biggest eye catcher in your outfit.

I’ve always adored a great jacket and having a variety of them as well. You’re able to succeed at having a large selection of said coats or jackets by shopping sustainable.

Retail prices can be rough especially when trying to purchase a nice, dependable and authentic jacket. The upside of this is when thrifting for reliable top layers, you’re met with a wide variety of different styles and pieces.

You’ll be able to find your niche when it comes to your style.

When thrifting especially because of how many different people in your communities donate. Everybody is different and you’re bound to find that one that expresses who you are and what you convey.

3.) Shoe-ware

The beauty of purchasing second-owned shoes is the mere fact that majority of them are so undeniably unique. The amount of pairs I’ve personally found that are brand new is remarkable.

Whether you’re a tote bag type of gal, small handle fanatic or you love cross body purses, shopping second-hand is your way to go!

Tying in whatever bag you choose is such a great thing when completing an outfit. You can add your own spunk, a splash of a different color or even just match your garments.

The greatness is you can do this so cost effectively and truly stay within your budget. Rather than buying costly purses that you only use on occasion.

Which in fact, isn’t a horrible thing, I for one have at least a few purses under that category (on-occasion purses). The kicker about them is I purchased them all second owned.
